The Delta ERT is providing you with the Emergency Alert website links for each of our service areas. Click on the link for your locality to set up an account where you can choose your preferences and devices. Information on things like road closures, evacuations, and extreme weather will be sent to you! Also, included are the Police or Sheriff non-emergency numbers for our service areas. These numbers can be called to report non-violent crimes such as phone harassment or non-injury hit and run. Governor Ralph Northam announced the new gathering restrictions, mask mandate and alcohol curfew to prevent coronavirus spread. Starting this Sunday, November 15, 2020, the following five (5) mandates will be in place: *NEW* VIRGINIA COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: effective Sunday, Nov 15, 2020 1. Max 25 people at public and private gatherings both indoor and outdoor. 2. Ages 5 & up must wear mask in indoor public spaces. 3. All essential retail businesses, including grocery stores and pharmacies, must adhere to social distancing, wearing masks, and enhanced. cleaning. Violations of mask rules at grocery & pharmacy is a Class One (1) misdemeanor. 4. On-site sale, consumption, and possession of Alcohol stop at 10 p.m. 5. All restaurants, dining establishments, bars close by midnight.
